The third annual Porters Lake Dragon Boat Festival hosted by Narrows 9 Dragons will be held on June 25, 2022 from 1pm – 6pm at 9 Narrows Lane in Porters Lake. This years event is in support of the Nova Scotia Fire Fighters’ Burn Treatment Society and our efforts to offer programs and assistance to survivors of burn injuries.

The festival will include a barbeque, live entertainment, and an afternoon of fun filled dragon boat racing. Organizers are seeking corporate sponsorship to aid the NSFFBTS in their fundraising efforts to continue providing their programs for burn survivors. Depending on the level of corporate sponsorship you chose, companies may be eligible to advertise at the event, receive recognition online, get a practice run in before the races, and then put their employees, friends, and/or family members in a dragon boat to compete for supremacy on the water. Participants also recieve a free t-shirt commemerating the event.


 



A gold sponsor donation can cover the average cost of bandages for 2 burn survivors or send 2-3 survivors to Camp Connect
- Provides a dragon boat for a team of your employees, friends, or family members of to 20 people.
- Participation in the dragon boat races, including a practice run arranged one evening before the featival.
- Option to proudly display your corporate banner at the event.
- Recognition of your generosity on the NSFFBTS website and social media platform.



A silver sponsor donation can cover the average cost of bandages for 1 burn survivor or send 1 burn survivor to Camp Connect
- Provides a dragon boat for a team of your employees, friends, or family members of up to 10 people.
- Participation in liesurely dragon boating (no racing).
- Recognition of your generosity on the NSFFBTS website and social media platform.



A bronze sposor donation aids in supporting many of the programs offered by the NSFFBTS
- Event entry for up to 5 people.
- Recognition of your generosity on the NSFFBTS website and social media platform.




Tickets for this event can be purchased individually for $40. Your ticket gives you access to the ground festivities and, if you can convince a group of 12 to 20 people to join you, let us know prior to the end of registration and we will provide a boat for you to compete in the races.
